"Woah," Sammi declared. "This hottub feels good!"
"Yeah," Shiva agreed. "It is very relaxing."
"Guys," Rosie interjected. "Sorry to break your hallucination, but we
are in trouble here!"
"Yes," Penelope responded, struggling against the tight confines of
the ropes which bound them all four together. "Someone think of something
quick!"
"The crinkle sack!" Sammi proposed.
"Where is it?" Rosie asked, looking around.
"Up there!" Sammi answered, her eyes fixed onto the bookshelf against
the wall.
"Hey," One of the evil squirrels shouted over it's back. "Pipe down
over there!"
"Hey," A voice called from the shelf. "Is that crinkle sack magical?"
"Yeah," Rosie stated. "Who's asking?"
"Me," Came the voice again. "I've got an idea for you, if you promise
to rescue me."
"Looks like a salamander," Penelope voiced, squinting in the darkness
to see the amphibian atop the shelf, squatting next to the bag.
"My name is Sally." The creature said. "Sally Mander. You must help
me get free from here so I can get back to my husband Solo Mander and our
little Baby Mander!"
"Fine, Sally," Shiva stated. "What is your plan?"
"First of all," Sally provided. "Make a ton of ice cubes come out of
the sack to put out the fire underneath that there cooking pot you are in.
Then make a bird come out of the bag so I can untie your ropes. There is a
pair of scissors on the shelf here I think."
"Great idea," Rosie said. "Crinkle sack...Do your thing!"
"Yee-Haw!" Sammi exclaimed as a million cubes of ice poured endlessly
from the enchanted crinkle sack and filled the floor of the room, dousing
the flames of the fire beneath them in a heartbeat!
"What the heck is going on here?!" One of the squirrels shouted, and
slipped on the ice-covered ground. Likewise the other two squirrels fell to
the floor with a crash.
"You needed a ride?" Came a voice next to Sally on the shelf.
"Why yes indeed!" Sally replied, as she hopped onto the back of a
sparrow which had suddenly appeared from the sack. "Off we go!"
