Hi!

When Crystal was rescued, it was noticed that she had a red, inflamed and
somewhat turgid spot about 3 cm in diameter on her left side. It was
thought to be a rash or an old bite wound.

After consulting with my vet, we agreed to watch the area for awhile.
Saturday I called the vet and arranged to have Crystal taken in for a
biopsy. The vet said he thought the area had enlarged some, and after a few
words...I asked him to remove as much of the 'growth' as possible.

He did that today and she came through the surgery fine. She's spending the
night there and I'll pick her up tommorrow. He (the vet) will be sending in
a sample to determine exactly what the growth is/was.

Please think good thoughts for Crystal and hope for a speedy recovery.
