You know, I think the makers of ferratone put a higher dosage than necessary
so that they can sell more ferratone. I used to give my ferrets at least
that amount, but they started acting kind of strange, nervous, jittery,
scared. Then I read in the ferret FAQs on the web that you should only give
them a couple drops of ferratone at most a day (not a couple squirts).
Well, when I read that (written by a vet), I cut down the dosage
immediately. My ferrets are healthier than they've ever been. They're not
nervous or jittery at all anymore, but they have tons of energy. I no
longer put ferratone on their food, and only give them a couple DROPS a day.
Some days they don't get any ferratone.
I think some agency should have the makers of Ferratone revisit their
published recommended dosages.
