Notice to those of you who use colloidal silver for treating your ferrets-
while i was wandering around web sites i stumbled across a few that
mentioned the FDA has given colloidal silver makers until January 13th to
substantiate some of the claims they're making about c.s's curative
properties.  After Jan 13th, the FDA will level a sort of 'generally not
recogized as safe' ban on c.s, and it sounds like the consequences of that
ban will be to pull c.s from store shelves and whatnot.
 
I know this isnt directly ferret-related, but i know a lot of you depend
upon c.s for treatment of ferret ailments, so i thought you'd appreciate
the advance warning.
