After reading the article posted in FML #1717, I put thought to it and
decided to reply.
I have been saving all of the FML's scince I first subscribed. I have never
had any problems, and never had a timeout.
I am currently using Netscape 2.0, and a local access provider. Once I
recieve the FML from the mail server, I [save as] to a temporary directory,
and read the document in WordPad. I then save it on a floppy, using cut and
paste to put them all together. (sucks up disks, but that's okay, disks are
cheap.)
True Netscape doesn't have the best email support, but, I have found, (by
trial and error) that if you change the Network preferences (cut down the
no. of connections and raise the network buffer size) that I can get fairly
large stuff through email without timing out.
Just thought that maybe this might help!!
Happy Dooking!!!!
A. Thomas.
