Courtney,
I saw a show on PBS Marty Stouffer's Wild America.  He said they were
closely related to Badgers and I beleive ferrets were in the same family.
 
He had an episode on Martens, they looked just like giant ferrets.  They
acted the same too, they were running around dooking and playing.  He was
trying to teach them to hunt, apparently he had found them with no mom and
was raising them to release them back into the woods.
 
We laughed through the whole show, they were so neat.  But the ones on the
show were brown or black....hmmmmm.
