Hello again. I had posted about Cody losing more hair last week. Well, I
just got off the phone with his vet in Pensacola a little while ago. He
told me that he had removed about 95% of the right adrenal when he operated
back in August and that the left adrenal HAD looked slightly larger than
normal and appeared to be "hard". I am still praying that this is just a
coat change but Cody is getting very aggressive towards my other male again.
A few days ago, he had him by the scruff and broke the skin (poor Indy!).
Dr. Ernest suggested that Cody's left gland may be affected now or that the
right may be trying to come back, causing problems again! He said that we
could do an exploratory surgery (I can't put Cody through another surgery!)
or try putting him on very small doses of Lysodren.

Cody does not seem to be losing anymore hair but it will come out with the
slightest pull. Should I wait and see if he gets any better (or worse)? It
is a good thing Cody has always been a "loner" because we have to keep him
in a separate Cage now due to his attitude problem!

I do not know anything about the medication that Dr. Ernest suggested but he
said that he has used it in ferrets...sometimes it helps, sometimes it
doesn't. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks to
all who have answered my previous posts!

Brooke
