If anybody out there is interested in "fert tunes," I just heard the
greatest little song the other day. It's called DOGS AND FERRETS and it's
on the brand-new CD by Steeleye Span, "Commoner's Crown." Steeleye Span does
wonderful traditional-style English folk music, with lots of fabulous
harmonies and instrumentation. If you have a large chain book/music store
like Borders near you, or a music store like Virgin, you might be able to
hear it on headphones at one of the listening stations. Check it out!
Also, there is a fellow named John Barry who makes whimsical little ceramic
ocarina flutes shaped like animals. He doesn't have a ferret yet, but he
DOES have an otter. Also of possible interest to some FML folks, the
raccoon and hedgehog. Lark in the Morning has these in their catalog
(http://www.larkinam.com). Something new to toot for fert amusement!
PS: Deb (Cyra's mom): Hi! I am putting together a camel belt too... just
starting! And TL is very, very interested in the taboo crafts closet!
Especially the foam drum pads (on top shelf).
PS: Bryan: Just another vote to say Please keep your fuzzies! You've got
two of them, and they'll be able to amuse each other & play together while
you're at work. Maybe you could ferret-proof a "play room" for them, with
toys and tunnels.
Ciao,
Isabel Two and Tristan's Lady (Weezie)
