Hey Ya'll!
I think this pet store debate is getting ut of hand!  People are generalizing
things that are impossible to generalize!  There is no way for ONE person to
examine every single pet store in the WORLD!  There are some really
wonderful pet stores out there, and then there are some really terrible ones
out there!  People are going to be jerks and be in the business for the
money and then some people will be in it for the animals!  People in it for
the money usually do not run a good store!  People in it for the animals
usually have a clean store and workers who know what they are talkin about!
Some people have made some wonderful points like bigger stores who don't
carry live-stock may not know what the prober environment is for a certain
animal because they don't have the actual animals there!  Someone else said
that the pet store is what introduces most of us to ferrets!  If you think
about it how many people wander into pet stores to browse!  We get them all
the time and I can not tell you how many times I have showed people ferrets
and told them about what great pets they make and people are amazed!  Half
the people I show ferrets to have never seen one close up!  Talk about
education!!!!  The best place to educate the public is in public!!!!!!!
