Hi all. This might sound a little strange, but I thought I'd ask anyway.
I'm involved in a live-action role-playing game in which we dress up as
characters and play a certain personality. I've decided that I want to be a
ferret--they are sentient and can talk, etc. I'm trying to think of some
fun behaviors I would have and have been watching every possible action
Nietra makes as research. *smile* What I have so far:
The typical sounds...hissing, dooking, sniffing, etc. War dancing when
excited, backing up and hissing when startled, being easily startled, trying
to get into EVERYTHING, stealing stuff and hiding it, eating raisins (but
not too many *grin*), digging, climbing, sleeping a lot, liking noisy toys,
hating smelly things, being overly curious, being playful, being frantic and
talking quickly (I know that they don't really talk, but the character can),
etc.
I'm just wondering ... if you could pretend to be a ferret for a long-term
thing, are there any other things which you would add to your character
profile? I know that this is going to be so fun.
Oh, as for a costume, my friend is making me a molded face mask so I will
actually have a face more like a ferret. Then....lots of makeup. I'll
paint myself like Nietra, my silver mitt. Since it's cold outside (the
weekends are held outside), I don't have to worry about full fake fur, since
my character will wear clothes--most of these kinds of characters (people
have played bats, cats, dogs, birds, etc.) wear clothing of some kind
because they are human-like as well. E-mail me to let me know. Thanks

Nietra: Mommy, are you trying to be like me? Cool.
