I was cleaning ferret house ( putting their bedding for washing, etc.) when
I moved all the bottle caps (plastic) from behind the couch. I put them in
a hammock in a play structure we got for the ferrets. Well, after their
bath and their drying behavior, Sushi started wandering around to collect
her moved belongings. She found her bottle caps, but before storing them,
she had to play with each one. It seemed like she was checking they came
thorough the move undamaged! Each cap received her attention. But now I
know they will remain stored until I dare touch them again.

My husband was flipping channels two nights ago when I saw Kodo and Podo, so
of course he was forced to stop so we could watch the ferret movie stars of
Beastmaster. Thorough out the movie we're comparing ferret behavior, "yes,
ours will do that", "they've got to be joking". We came away thinking
either or ferrets are really quiet or the film people took lots of liberty
with adding sounds for the ferrets. I was thinking on the whole it was a
great showing for ferrets, no negative stereotypes. So Kodo and Podo are
ferret role models <GG>,
