Unless it's Dr. Bruce Williams or any FML vet, for that matter - I wish we
could clone them so we all could have trustworthy vets!

BATHS: I also tried giving Casey a bath with much hotter water instead of
the lukewarm water I used to use (I didn't want to scald my BABY and I
figured she's an animal who would think cooler water was normal - WRONG!)
She was MUCH happier. And I made it deeper so she could swim - and she did
but she kept climbing up my arm so she isn't an otter-ferret. She actually
likes drying off though - she goes into psycho mode.

PLANTS: I have a long Pothos plant which has a bunch of vines hanging off
the windowsill onto the floor. Casey tries to climb them like a monkey.
Luckily the pot stays on the windowsill because she isn't heavy enough to
pull it off.

Last night the neighbors' Toy Poodle, Ashley came over and she and Casey got
to play for the first time. My husband wasn't convinced (at first) that
dogs and ferrets could live harmoniously together. He thought Casey would
get her head bitten off. Well, I was cautious at first but immediately I
realized that Casey would win. She knows all of her hiding places around
the apartment from when I chase her. Ashley would pounce at her but stop
just before reaching her. Casey would approach Ashley and then bite her
nose, or cheek. Eventually Casey started jumping on the dog's back and
chasing her around and Ashley would just roll over on her back. My husband
couldn't believe his eyes when Casey, a 1.25 pound sable was intimidating a
14 pound Toy Poodle!

Dooks to all!
