My vet also said that bats do get rabies but like ferrets they get the dumb
form and it's difficult to transmit.  She didn't say how many get it
compared to what, but I'm originally from NM, home of the Carlsbad Caverns
and we have plenty of bats there!!!!!
 
I wanted to share the new web page my DH made for us.  Yes it's about
ferrets!!!  Part of it is still underconstruction and my DH keeps making
changes but you are welcome to come and view it.
