hi there - I've a ferret that is almost a year old and has a bad habit with
his litter.  Firstly he likes to play with the litter box, scratching out
all the sand from the box, and then places his droppings right next to it.
I tried laying out newspaper and that didn't work, then sparying bitter
apple.  I tried hitting his nose lightly each time he would do it.  All that
doesn't work.  I covered the area now with my bed but he has made a hole in
the box and crawled in and made it his new home ....help!
