Hello! I've been reading this list for a month or two now, but this is my
first posting. I am the proud owner of a 14 month old sable, male ferret
named Noah. I bought him from someone who could not keep him due to an
allergy in the family. I've had him almost a year now. I just have a
couple of questions if someone= would be so kind as to impart some wisdom
on me!

1) I recently bought a product made by 8-in-1 called Vitasol. It is a high
potency multivitamin designed for ferrets; it is a water soluble liquid
placed in the water supply. Does anyone know if this is a worthwhile
product?

2) Does anyone have a list of "ferret-qualified" vets or clinics in the
Dallas area? I live in north Dallas, so I can make it to
Plano/Richardson/Allen fairly easily. It's almost time for his yearly
boosters and I want to make sure that I find a good vet in case of future
health problems.

3) Ever since I first brought him home, Noah regularly coughs while eating.
It's almost like he's not chewing the food up enough and has to clear his
throat. Either that or he's just eating too fast! Has anyone experienced
this, and is there any reason I should be concerned with it? He's been fine
for the 10 months I've had him.

Thanks for any advice you can give!
