I have been reading and enjoying the mailing list for a couple of months
now. One of our ferrets (we have three, and have become helpless victims of
ferret math ;)) got herself into quite a predicament the other day and I
just had to share it with you. Nikki, our first female ferret, has a
terrible habit of digging at any closed door. Well, along with help from
the other two, she has managed to dig a hole in the carpet under our
bathroom door big enough that she can squeeze under the door. We like to
keep the bathroom off limits because our washer and dryer are in there.
Anyway, when we are home we generally just keep an eye on them to make sure
none of them squeeze into the bathroom. Well, Nikki got in there
unbeknownst to us, until my husband heard something banging against the
wall. He opened the bathroom door, and there he found Nikki, with a
cardboard roll from a roll of toilet paper stuck on her head! The dang
thing was on there so tight, I had to tear it off of her! It was a funny
sight!

Anyway, I also had a quick question about snacks for our ferrets. With
three, we have been unable to find something that all three of them like,
except for animal crackers. Ringo, our male sable, is the picky eater, but
even he will snatch these from us. I just wondered if anyone knew of a
reason these wouldn't be good for them?

Thanks,
Serra
and of course the fuzzies - Nikki, Ringo, and Chili
