Stuart (angel husband) and I have been lurking on the FML for several
months. To introduce our family :
We are owned by two ferrets, Tom and Jerill. Our first ferret, Jerri, died
at 8 months (May '96) from a wasting liver disease that was never precisely
diagnosed. We had gotten Tom in March '96, and had spotted Jerill at a pet
store during Jerri's illness. We brought him home right after Jerri died.
There is a reason for the trend in our fuzzies' names. :-) In college, one
of my best friends acquired the nickname 'Ferret-face', as in Frank Burns,
of M*A*S*H. Naturally, when I finally got a ferret, the only logical thing
to do was name her after this friend, whose proper name is 'Jerry'. So
there you have it.
My question for the crowd is this :
We are getting ready to rent a carpet shampooer, to get this place in shape
for the holidays. Given the chemicals used in this process, how long do we
need to keep the fuzzwumples off said carpet? Until it dries? Several
days? Someone must have experience with this. Any advice would be
appreciated.
Dooks,
Susan (my pocketbook!)
Stuart (where is my toothpick holder?)
Tom (forget the stuff, where's the food, it's time for a picnic)
Jerill (MY pocketbook, MY toothpick holder!!)
