Tom the pharmacist here.  ALL cocoa is processed with alkali.  Which is a
fancy term for a base (pH higher than 7) as opposed to acid (pH lower than 7)
 
Don't worry about it.
 
BTW we hard a hard time getting Hendrix.  Does anyone know where we could
geta black-eyed white fert within driving distance of NY City?  a 1-2 hour
drive would be OK.  It seems like everyone I ask thinks I'm out of my mind.
Hendrix really needs a playmate, and my son has his heart set on a
Black-eyed white fert.
