Troy Lynn is absolutely right about being careful when changing a futon's
position with ferrrets. Kitka's *head* was once caught. She was not hurt
one bit, but could have been. I still hate to think about it. We always put
them in their room or hold them while we move it.
 
One question on futons. Our pad slips down really far. The standard
solution for this is a rubber mat under the futon mattress -- not ferret
friendly. Does anyone have any ideas?
