My dads buying me a ferret if i pay for 100 dollars of it.  Last night my
father made a cage for it.  The cage is made out of wire sortof like chicken
wire but thicker and stronger.  I was wondering if the edges will cut the
ferret and if i should cover them.  Also my dad wants to use wood shavings
on the bottom of the cage but I read that I shouldn't is this true.  Luckily
the vet thattreats my dog cat and bird also treats ferrets.  I was very
lucky in this because ferrets just became legal in Mass.  If anyone can help
me i'd appreciate a response to Terri [log in to unmask]
