To Ela Heyn-

Noodle constantly digs food out of his bowl as well. To date, the only
solution i've found is putting another male ferret of the same age in the
cage with him, because it's usually a frustration or boredom issue - ie, i
cage him when guests come over so we can eat in peace, or at bedtime when
he's not yet ready to go to sleep, and he scrapes food everywhere before
chomping food. Another large, fiesty ferret in the cage usually keeps
Noodle occupied.

Alternately, i feed him and Friday (who doesnt suffice to keep him not
bored) small amounts three times a day, minimizing waste. I'd be interested
in any actual solutions, however.
