Take Sergeant to the vet and have the vet run a fasting blood glucose test.
The symptoms that you are describing are very possibly a result of
insulinoma. To learn more about insulinoma, send an e-mail message to
<[log in to unmask]> with the message GET INSULIN DISEASE FERRET in
the body of the message. Do not add a signature or any other words to the
