Hi everyone, you might know that I have been asking for help with Abu and
what I thought was "Pegonevative Anemia". Well, the veterinarian had his
secretary write things down (so that they were readable because she thought
it said "Pegonevative" too) and what he really has is Regenerative Anemia.
He told me that the symptoms thus far are 1) immature RBC's 2) Nucleated Red
Blood Cells 3) Red Blood Cell Precursors. I don't know what all of this
means, but have been told that he is gravely ill (literally) and all the
information we can find would be helpful. What they really want me to do is
to take him to Washington State University for a full workup, but since that
would cost approximately $300.00 and I can't afford that right now, we are
stuck with what we have. Unfortunately we are having to come to some
difficult decisions that if he doesn't get better, how much will I end up
having to spend on him to get better or should I let him go because he is so
young and this is so hard on his body. So as you can imagine any
information, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to you, is of
great worth to me. PLEASE let me know if you have any ideas, I am really
fighting for time with him.
Thank you!
Love,
Laura & Abu (please help me)
