Hi all,

I was trimming the boys' nails last night (which I usually do about every 2
weeks) and I noticed that Fezzick somehow lost one since the last time they
had been trimmed. It looks like the entire nail got caught on something and
ripped off because all I can see is a little scab on his toe where the nail
should be. It doesn't seem to bother him...he's hyper as always and doesn't
mind me fiddling with his feet (well, any more than any other ferret would)
so I'm sure he's not in any pain. The rest of his foot is also fine. I was
just wondering if there was anything I could do/should watch for (besides
obvious things like favoring that foot, etc.) and how long it might take for
his little nail to grow back?

Thanks for any input!
