Hello FML'ers!
 
Well, I just worked for a few hours on finishing up the rest of the story...
the final climax to the story is about to happen!  Fang is confronted!!!
Yep, the book will be about 50 pages in 8 1/2" by 11" format... with
drawings also by Lisa.  She is going to do one of Otter soon!  That will be
awesome!  Today I went to get a business license and they asked me
everything except what cereal I eat in the morning!  We have to ask the
owner of the townhouse for permission to run a mail-order business!  Strange
town we live in here!  I had a license in Los Angeles a while ago and they
didn't require much prep. at all!
 
I am very excited about this new venture that Lisa and I are undertaking!  I
have another book that I've written called Deeper Ecology that I plan to
publish also under this company!  It is about wildlife and global
conservation.  Basically it is an account of all I have learned in college
and in the field.
 
I hope to get a catalog going of all of the products that Wild Side
Publishing (my company) will provide...and I have yet to ask Dayna if she
wants me to put her ferret stationary in there, but I guess she is reading
this post and will find out!  Eventually I want to publish stories from
other ferret-enthusiasts!  Anyone interested???  There is obviously a huge
void where this topic is concerned.  I found one book at 2 libraries up here
containing a ferret story.  If these little guys are really the 3rd most
popular pet in the U.S.  then why no representation in literature???
 
Anyway, hopefully Wild Side Publishing will alter this statistic!  I will be
off to the P.O.  Box on Saturday to check for orders for The Big Adventure,
since several folks said that their check is in the mail.  Then all we need
to do here is get it ready to print and then mail them off!  We also plan to
advertize in Modern Ferret Magazine.  Does anyone know of any other places
to place an ad. for TBA???  Any phone #'s or addresses would be greatly
appreciated!!!  We won't be making much money at all from the book (we are
charging less than ten bucks) and thus we need all the exposure we can
get!!!  BIG has already suggested that I buy an ISBN code for the book so
that libraries and bookstores will buy a copy.  He is a really nice man, you
know!  Anyways, if you are wondering how to get a copy of our book, check

gotta get some sleep, it's nearly 1:30am and got classes tomorrow!
