Hey everyone. I wanted to say thanks to whoever suggested the hanging
basket for ferrets...mine love it. They use it like a swingset.
Also, I'm looking for someone (desperately) in Houston or surrounding area
that is ECE free and willing to ferret-sit for a few days while we try to
get rid of the bug problem in my apartment. I've had about enough of the
bugs our neighbor has managed to collect (!) and want them out of the
apartment, but am afraid of the damage it would do to the fuzzies...(which
is why I've waited so long). Please, even if you can't do it, but know
someone...I just have 2 very sweet furkids here, and if I can't find someone
here, I'll have to leave them in San Antonio for as long as 2-3 weeks before
I can get back to pick them up from my folks (although I guess they'd love
to play with the rest of the gang, but I'd miss 'em!) Please call or email
me...(713)975-8608 or [log in to unmask]
On a happy note, just wanted to mention that my roommate experienced the joy
of playing with a frenzied fuzzy for the first time last night (she usually
seems to feel that they're MY pets, and leaves them alone for the most part,
she's not a "ferret person.") It was hilarious and I had to force myself to
not interfere with her bonding experience with Reverend Maynard...now I'll
just have to call her "Waltzes with Weasles."
Please, I need a ferret sitter badly! Thanks!
Kelly.
Reverend Maynard: "it was the sandalwood soap i licked that made me
so irresistable to Katie (roommate)."
Edie: "No, we all know it was your boyish good looks...when will she play
with me?"
