Just a few quick questions......
1. How old do ferrets need to be to receive a flea bath?
2. I saw the mention of Program, to treat flea problems in ferrets,
I was wondering if that is the same as used in dogs? What is
the dosage schedule for ferrets?
3. I have a 2 year old, spayed, female ferret who has recently
developed an enlarged vulva. It does not seem to bother her, nor
is it inflamed, erythematous, and is without any discharge.
My vet has said, "Let's just keep any eye on it." I am concerned
about cancer. Has anyone had any experience with these symptoms?
4. Just added two new baby male ferrets to the family, Satchmo and Dizzy,
unfortunately, my two year olds, Bonnie and Clyde, are not happy with this
decision. I thought I would be able to slowly introduce the two new
whipper-snappers to their older brother and sister. This does not seem to
be working. Bonnie and Clyde sulk continuosly. During periodic playtime
exposure Bonnie and Clyde are excessively rough with the new ones. Any
suggestions?
Sincerely,
Betsy- the tired med. student.
Rik- the fiance cage cleaner
Bonnie-the boss
Clyde- the dim-wit
Satchmo- the Sasquatch
Dizzy- the whirling ferret
Nevi- the gecko
Mina- the Skunk
