Dear Paw Paw,
 
We, the ferrets who own Kat, is sorry to hear about yer leg.  Kat tells us
all about yer funny notes and we will miss that.  We is worried though, cuz
we remember some of yer stories about yer ferrets where you accidently-like
fell over them, slammed yerself into bureau crawers, fell out of bed, and
stuff like that.  We hope you don't think Tater and Odie had anything to do
with yer current Drain Bamage.
 
Kat's hubby thinks she has had Drain Bamage for a long time, cuz besides us
three ferrets, she has two cats, a dog, three lizards and a hermit crab.  So
you are in good company.  Kat's hubby only likes Cody, though, so there's
mebbe not much point in thinkin bout his opinion.
 
We is hoping you will feel better soon.
