Hello FMLers,

We have a ferret whose owner is from Utah and is visiting CA and will return
at the end of the summer. Well, the unthinkable happened and his ferret was
confiscated. Now we need to move this pet back to his family in Utah. His
family is from a very small town that doesn not have an airport, and they
will take the ferret, but we have to ship it to Las Vegas because apparently
that is the closest airport around. The problem for us is that Las Vegas
has an animal ship hold because of the heat-- we cannot fly any ferrets to
Las Vegas during summer months.

Does anyone know someone with a small plane that could fly this ferret from
the Bay Area to Las Vegas? Or, is anyone driving from the Bay Area to Las
Vegas in the next month or so? I don't think we'll have problems with DFG
is seeking an alternative route because we really don't have any choice in
the matter.

We will coordinate with this young man's family and make sure they meet you
in Las Vegas. The only restrictions we would have is that it's OKed with
DFG and that you are ECE clean.

Please contact me [log in to unmask] if you think you can help.
