Hello from Northern Michigan, where the rest of you are enjoying summer and
we're enjoying fall! The good news that I have to relate is that my second
ferret, Rafiki, has finally gained some weight and is acting very chipper
and is very active! For the last two months Rafiki has been getting very
thin and ornery (sp?) I tried everything that I could think of to get him to
eat a little more and gain some weight because he was looking like death
warmed over. Well a week ago I happened to be in my favorite pet store
looking for a toy to cheer him up when I happened to come across some ferret
weight gainer. After carefully reading the instructions and thinking of
everything possible that could go wrong - I bought it. Well Rafiki liked it
at once, it was beef flavored, and since then he has gained a few more oz's.
He is looking better, more well - rounded, and is acting more like a ferret.
He does his war dance with pride and dook - dook's with the best of them.
Even today he decided to hide and pounce when I wasn't looking. If anyone
is having the same problem with their ferret, please e-mail me and I can
give you the name of the product, the name escapes me at the moment.

Good day to all!

Tony
