Hi. Hope Bill got my post from the other day okay.

Well, today Ruffle crashed out on us again. Didn't know at first if the
proglycem wasn't holding her new insulinomas or if she was convulsing with
possible regrown liver cysts (no evidence at this point that those have
regrown as well), or if she had a fluid build-up. Turned out to be the
third. Then we didn't know if it was because of her heart disease or if her
liver was failing. I'm glad to say that she did respond very well to
injected Lasix, so we'll be going to daily doses now. Given her tendency to
go into dehydration with it I guess we will have to ask for a dex bag and
needles for home. In case a vet can reply before I get a chance to ask our
vets, or since I might well forget I have some questions: If she does regrow
a liver cyst and it bursts will she bleed out? Are the cysts blood filled
or fluid filled? How does one spell the word pronounced "ah-sigh-tees"?

Right now I feel like I've been slammed around by a bulldozer; it's just the
effects of all that epinephrine wearing off. We are very glad that our
little sweetheart made it. She's up, drinking Sustical, and kissing, but of
course is napping a lot. If Steve and I feel like we've been run over
imagine how she must feel.
