My question concerns a ferret which I am thinking about adopting. I have
been so excited that it sort of slipped my mind that there may be problems,
but heres the situation:
The current owner has told me that the ferret I am to adopt is a large male.
When he was getting his reproductive surgury done, I guess they missed a
part of the reproductive system, and he still produces a bit of
testosterone. She says he is very docile and demonstrates no hob behavior,
except that she feels he needs to be bathed once a week because he does have
a stronger odor.
I have 2 ferrets, one male and one female both neutered/spayed.
Do you forsee any future problems? Will he need more surgury? Should he
really be bathed this often? Do you think he will bother the other fuzzballs?
Thanks for your time.
