If you can't beat 'em.....educate 'em.  If you're not sure that there
aren't any lurkers from Fish and Game Dept......send them the fml address
and make sure they ARE on it.  In fact.......actively request that someone
from their department take some time ( company time of course!) and make a
contribution to the list.  How better to gain their support.  Make the FML
their topic of discussion at coffee breaks and lunch hours.  Let their
families read the FML.
 
ps   don't be too surprised if some of them already subscribe privately
to our list because .............
