There are two things that I would really like to read regarding this
incident.  The first would be a transcipt of the various court proceedings.
I assume they were recorded and, if so, are a matter of public record.  If
may be a while before they are officially filed, though.  Is there anyone on
this list close enough to where this took place that would be able to
investigate and obtain these court records?
 
Second, regarding the TV news story.  Did anyone record it?  If so, would it
be possible to post a written transcript on the FML?  Thanks.
 
I believe the lesson to be learned here is to be extremely careful when
allowing anyone to handle your ferret(s).  Other than family and close
friends, I will not allow anyone to hold my ferret for fear of what might
happen if she bites.  In fact, I only let people touch her if I'm holding
her.  It's sad, but you just never know what people are going to do.  We
live in a very litigious society.
