I just wanted to say that I bought "The Big Adventure" by David Doyle. I
have enjoyed reading about Maxie and Rosie. Someday I will have
grandchildren that I plan to read it to. It is a very nicely done book. My
only question is which ferret is which? Maybe I didn't pay close enough
attention when you were describing the girls, but the only picture I
recognize is Miss Wiggles. Tho I think either Maxie or Rosie got the double
exposure :) I think it was worth buying.
Ferret games
One thing I have always wanted to tell the FML. Our ferret isn't mine, it
belongs to my son. However I subbed to the list when I first heard he was
buying one. When he first got her, he bought her all kinds of toys from the
pet store. The ones she liked best were the ones I had heard of here on the
FML. (I paid $X for this and her favorite toy is a sock???) <VBG> That
done, here is a great game for our solitary fert. She doesn't have dryer
hose yet, but this is almost as good.
Coveralls as a ferret toy
You can loop the coveralls into all kinds of twisty shapes. Leg to leg.
Right arm left leg. Spread out in a cross shape. Jumbled up into a ball
and let them stretch them out. They do tend to want to take a nap in this
nice dark cozy warm tunnel tho. But they are easy to find there. (These
are the long sleeve, full leg coveralls, don't need to be insulated)
