As long as we are once again cataloging the various ferret appearances in TV
and movies let us not forget the following:
 
Short Circuit:  had a couple of very nice cameos of a male sable including
being held during the scene where she is being bombarded by questions from
reporters.
 
The Golden Girls:  In this episode the girls were going to raise minks to
make their own mink coats.  The mink cages were, in actuality, filled with
sable ferrets.
 
Wild Wild West:  In one episode the bad guy, Dr. Loveless (or was it his
girlfriend) had a pet ferret.
 
Bright Lights Big City:  Not a very pro-ferret depiction.  Another one of
those where the the ferret escapes from a box and attacks the fellows that
let it out.  They were going to release this wild animal in some fellow's
office as a joke.
 
And let's not forget Beastmaster (1-too many) and Second Noah.
