Hello again Ferret Lovers:

I am wondering if "Brewers Yeast tablets with Garlic" are a safe diet
supplement for ferrets, and if so, recommended dosages, since dosages for
ferrets are not listed on the package. The dosage is 1 tablet per each 10
pounds of body weight (for dogs and cats). The ingredients are: Debittered
Brewers Dried Yeast, Dehydrated Garlic, Zinc Oxide, Biotin; guaranteed
analysis: Crude Protein, not less than 41.0%. I understand that the garlic
is considered to be a flea deterrent. Further ingredients breakdown follows:

Vitamins and Minerals per pound (minimums unless otherwise stated):

Zinc 1.45 mg
Thiamine 41 mg
Riboflavin 16 mg
Vitamin B6 17 mg
Niacin 170 mg
d-Pantothenic Acid 35 mg
Biotin 1.0 mg
Folic Acid 1.5 mg
There is also a breakdown of amino acids, however, I'm not including those.

Thank you,
Jean and her sweetheart ferret Katy, and
Sasha the Rogue
