Ferret mention on Prarie Home Companion

I was listening to Prarie Home Companion on the radio Saturday and was
stunned to hear a mention of ferrets on Garrison Keillor's show. It was
during one of their put-on radio advertisements for Fred Farrell's animal
calls. The set up had to do with pesky animals invading your garden in the
spring and eating your flowers, and he starts the list with "...deer,
gophers, moles, ferrets..."

Ferrets? Eat flowers? NEVER! Dig them up, you bet, but not eat them.
(Well, not my guys, not unless they taste like dried cranberries or
raisins.) Besides, we all know that there aren't any BFFs in Minnesota to
dig up the flowers and that escaped domestic ferrets aren't likely to go
rummaging through the garden.

Does Prarie Home Companion have an e-mail site for comments? Could folks on
the FML send a bunch of heartfelt or clever retorts to them to set them
straight? We might convince them to give ferrets a kindly mention on a
subsequent show. Well...just a thought, anyway.

BTW, the upshot of the gag was a pitch for Fred Ferrell's "Giant Condor
Call" which is supposed to scare away all manner of pesky critters. It was
a pretty funny gag, overall.
