Are you aware that just because the x-rays didn;t show an object that it may
still be a blockage?  Soft materials like cloth, foam, rubber etc.  won't
show up on an x-ray.  Unfortunately, too many ferret die because the vet
said "nope, nothing there" it must be something else.  I had a friend who
almost lost her ferret to a blockage from part of an eraser - didn;t show up
on the x-rays and her vet said it must have been a flu.  She got worse and
worse and one day passed a chunk of eraser (big chunk too - what an
appetite) and immediately started to recover.
 
Not trying to scare you of course, just wanted to let you know that the
possibility of a blockage should not be ruled out yet.
