This is a reply to Sheene Staples and Todd Doyle.
 
As a ferret owner myself I get very concerned when I hear about ECE (green
slime).  Being the distributor of the angora ferrets and the European
short-haired ferrets here in the US.  it's my responsibility to ensure that
every ferret I send out is healthy.  Part of this is to take each ferret to
our veterinarian the day before it's being shipped.
 
We also make sure that the ferrets "poop" looks normal, and that they eat
and drink as a ferret should.  We are very concerned with the health of our
animals, and would never ship a not healthy ferret.
 
Our breeder, and ourselves have never had a case of ECE, and we are doing
everything possible to keep it this way.
 
Regarding the hair in the angora ferrets nostrils, it's a distinct character
of this breed.
 
Underwater ferret... I love to see that!  What I have noticed is that some
ferrets love water, while other ferrets do anything to get out of the tub.
