In response to the person inquiring about "Totally Ferret" and how it is
not available in Canada:

Have you ever thought of feeding a Mink Diet? I feed all my ferrets (kits
and adults) a high quality Mink Diet, they love it. They all have shinny
coats, good size (boys about 5-6 pounds) and are very healthy. In fact,
none of them have had any serious sickness since I've had them.

I don''t understand why this "Totally Ferret" is so expensive. It is, in my
opinion, just a "rip-off" product, that is brainwashing the ferret industry
(pet owners). It cost around $13.95 (non-AFA members) and $9.95 for AFA
members. PLUS add another $4.75 shipping. Total cost for ONLY a 5 pound
bag is almost $19.00. THAT is such a RIP-OFF. Why are you guys spending
this amount of money on food. My ferrets are SO healthy, and are feed a
high quality mink diet. I get a 50 pound bag of mink food for $25.00. To
get a 50 pound bag of "Totally Ferret", it would cost 10 times that, or
$190.00???? Come on now, the food is not that good. In my opionion, I
think that people who feed this are getting ripped off. Hope this does not
upset anyone, I'm just speaking my mind. I have owned ferrets for many
years, oldest one I have is about 9 years old. She has been raised on this
Mink Diet, and she looks great. "Totally Ferret", no thanks, I'll stick
with my Mink Food diet, and watch them play with SO much energy!!!
