Hi, all!  I am happy to report that not very long after posting that
my ferrets are not using the 2nd level in their cage, I found them
using it!  Yay!
 
Diana - My Jasmine loses a lot of weight in the summer.  She is a tub in the
fall, winter, & spring.  She doesn't seem to be as long as our other
ferrets, so when she is tubby we just say she's undertall.  But she gets
down right skinny come summertime.  I prefer her to be chunky.
 
None of my 4 are cuddly/sleep in your lap types & they range in age from 3
years to 5 years.  We got them at ages 6 weeks, 3 months, 1 1/2 years, & 3
years.  Once Jasmine fell asleep in my lap.  I told my husband that he was
going to die.  He then turned around to see what he was going to die over.
He just had to get up to get a good look & when he did it woke her up & she
went on her way.  Better once than never, I guess!
