Hello, everybody.
I'm a fairly new subscriber to the FML. Been lurking a while and learning
and enjoying much. My male sable, Rascal, is 5 months old and, thanks to
the FML is over 3 lbs now and a happy, healthy dooker. We live in
Springfield, MO, and are looking forward to the acquisition of a playmate
for Rascal in the near future.

I have two dogs, but they'd be terrible playmates for Rascal. Both are
Rat-terrier mixes. Rocky is very active and in-your-face. He would make a
meal out of Rascal. That doesn't surprise me. I had hoped, though, that my
other dog, Tasha, and Rascal could be friends. She is absolutely
*petrified* of Rascal, though! Whenever I bring Rascal near Tasha, she
trembles all over and pees, and dashes to find a place to hide! For a Rat
Terrier, she is an awful big weenie! Puzzlingly, though, she is a terror to
small wild animals out doors, such as possums and groundhogs. She even
tried to kill Rocky when we brought him home as a tiny pup. I wonder if she
needs a doggy-psychologist?!
