Thanks to BIG for pointing me towards the "unofficial" FML stickers in the
last advertising issue.
Is there a way we can either make them "official" or offer a more permanent
version of it (pins, laminated badges)?
So out of my own personal curiosity, if you're going to the October GCFA
show in Chicago (or the November GLFA<?> show in Michigan, could you let me
know via email? I really am interested in meeting other listies and would
hate to find out I missed out because they're sticker-less. Also, please
let me know if it's okay to add your name to a "Fert show attendee" list on
my WWW page.
New question:
I've heard about (and sent a check to) the Morris Animal Foundation for the
rabies shed study. I just picked up Deborah Jeans' book (Practical Guide to
Ferret Care), and she mentions another organization also collecting
donations for a shedding study (Kansas University? Don't have the book in
front of me, >sigh<.) Anyone know about this one? I'll post the specifics
if desired...it's from the second edition (I'm not sure if it was in the
first). Just curious if they're doing double-duty...
TIA,

[Moderator's note: The stickers have a space to write in your email address
and, WOW, if you knew how often people changed email addresses (I get
several changes each day!) a permanent pin of that nature wouldn't seem to
be a good idea. But I really like the idea of a discrete, small pin --
perhaps 1/2 or 3/4 inch round or square that just identifies FMLers with no
email address. That would cost more than 25 cents tho :-) BIG]
