I am working on a database and just came across an article from 1987 on bite
statistics which says *humans* bite each other with a frequency outdone only
by dogs. Humans were bit 12,856 times in 1985 by ducks, goats, seagulls,
skunks, horses, monkeys, iguanas, pigeons, finches, rabbits, etc, etc.

DOG bites human in 1985: 9,809 bites
HUMAN bites human 1985: 1,591 bites
FERRET bites human 1985: 5 bites
