IMHO, and IMHE (E for experience)...
 
    People who abuse animals will abuse human beings if they think they can
get away with it.  There is very very little (if any) psycological
difference between someone who abuses animals, and one who abuses their
spouse or children.
 
    Also while channel flipping this afternoon.  (my kid has the flu so I
was with her much of the afternoon when I should have been at school working
on a report.) I caught a bit of Rikki Lake, ...  abuse of animals is a
felony in several states.  If this guy tossing the ferrets around is in one
of those states the "ex girlfriend" can give an annoymous tip to the Law...
 
    Also she should get as far away from him as possible...  Though best
would be if it were possible for HER to keep the ferrets, and to throw the
abuser out.

    (who was mocked by a spouse for protesting about a HUMAN baby being
tossed. ...  that spouse is now an ex with a Non-Contact order covering
me AND the child.)
