Response about collar use:
We've used nylon collars on our two girls with much success.  They are
collars specifically made for ferrets (ie.  they are tiny!) and we got them
from a pet store.  We've attached small id tags onto them as well.  Our
experience is that the collars are pretty comfortable and the girls have
adjusted to them very easily--in fact, in one instance it prevented Ophelia
from crawling into a tiny space (that I didn't realize exisited until then!)
because the collar wouldn't slip through like the rest of her!!!
 
CA bill:
We're extremely disappointed about the CA bill not passing.  We faxed all of
the people we could about this issue.  Any ideas for further action???
