Ferret Wise Rescue & Rehabilitation announces Ferrets & Friends (dogs, cats,
owners & animal lovers) Walk for Ferret Wise Shelter.  A walk a thon event
which will be held on Saturday June 1 1996 in Keene NH!
 
This first time event is hoped to draw attention from throughout the country
with it's proxy entry.  What's that...  for example if you live in Des
Moines, IA you can participate by seeking sponsors and mailing in your
packet by May 20, 1996.  Volunteer walkers for Ferret Wise shelter will make
the 2.5 to 3 mile trek on behalf of the proxy entrants!!!
 
All participants will receive a commemmorative certificate.  Those entering
by proxy and sending a photo of either the participant or loved companion
whom they are dedicating the walk to will have the photo displayed during
the event at the rally located on the grounds of Wheelock Park in Keene,
NH!!!!

Ferret Wise shelter served 99 ferrets in 1995 with a budget that exceeded
over $10,000.  Please help us in this our FIRST major fund-raising event!!
 
Brochures and sponsorship forms will be available on March 7th.  Those who
wish to participate themselves or who wish to enter on behalf of their
