Well said.
 
I have been reading the FML since December of 93 and many of the postings
over the last few months have been very disturbing.  I used to eagerly await
the "You've Got Mail!" sound on AOL because it meant that the latest FML was
here.  (They weren't as frequent then.) Cute fuzzy stories, good medical
advice, new ideas for toys, the occasional sad tale of a missing fuzzy or
worse, a reminiscence of one that crossed the Bridge.  That's the stuff of
the FML.  These public (and perhaps worse, private) attacks are just
unnecessary, especially in the case of someone who has lost a little friend.
If you have a point to make, fine, but let's try to remember that there are
people with feelings at the other end of those e-mail addresses.
