We just came back from a local breeder where we picked out our next ferret.
He is an 8 week old male silver (silver mitt?) with a beautiful grey back,
grey tail and white feet, chest and face.  What I fell in love with,
however, is his face...a white face with a grey "V" on his forehead.
Unlike the male we currently have, this guy won't be neutered until he is
at full growth.  We are bringing him home in 3 weeks, as we are about to go
on vacation.  He is my birthday gift...I've never had a birthday gift that
nips before!
 
We also just picked up a sign i had commisioned several months ago from the
Maaryland Rennisance Festival.  There are two ferrets on the sign, trying
to get to a beer glass.  It is titled "The Four Ferrets Tavern", also the
name of our house and a weekly social gathering.  The sign is wood, about
18"x27", with the design painted on, like an old fashioned tavern sign.  It
is my husband Don's Birthday gift.
